International Humanitarian Law (IHL) - Trainings

1. Training of Disseminators

As part of the continuous education and skills enhancement of personnel and volunteers most importantly technical staff who are often on field works - conducting trainings, dissemination and advocacy for the Philippine Red Cross, Training of Disseminators (TODs) are being conducted regularly.

This training is geared towards equipping them with sufficient knowledge in Safer Access and proper skills in disseminating the Red Cross Movement and the basics of International Humanitarian Law (IHL) with focus on the fundamental principles, protection and proper uses of the emblem and PRC’s activities and programs.


2. Board of Directors Seminar

Aiming to intensify our internal dissemination efforts, the PRC-IHL Office also conducts the Seminar for Board of Directors yearly.

Aside from focusing on the fundamental principles, protection and proper uses of the emblems (including new Emblem Law RA 10530), Safer Access and updates on PRC’s activities and programs, the training also aims to guide the IHL Committee chairman from the Board of Directors of chapters on their important role.
