Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Chairman and CEO Sen. Dick Gordon push for regular RT-PCR testing to combat COVID-19, especially since the holiday season is just around the corner.
Chairman Gordon reminded everyone not to be complacent and the importance of practicing health protocols despite lowering COVID-19 cases. With the threat of the Omicron variant that was spreading rapidly across other countries, PRC pushes for regular testing and vaccination to combat COVID-19.
“We are at war against COVID-19. We must ensure that you are tested regularly and are fully vaccinated before we go into a celebration with our families. Mag practice tayo ng health protocols upang maiwasan ang hawaan,” Chairman Gordon said.
PRC, the leading humanitarian organization in Covid-19 response, has conducted more than 5,040,454 RT-PCR tests and vaccinated more than 736, 297 through its 25 Bakuna Centers and Bakuna Buses.
“Although we reach the 5 million milestone for COVID-19 testing, we will not stop until we beat COVID-19. Patuloy pa rin ang ang ating Bakuna Buses at Bakuna Centers sa pagbabakuna dahil layunin ng Philippine Red Cross na maprotektahan tayo kontra COVID-19,” Gordon added.
