Emergency Appeal:
Türkiye-Syria Earthquake
The Türkiye and Syria earthquake could affect an estimate of 23 Million according to the World Health Organization.
As the whole humanitarian community mourns the thousands of lives lost after the deadly earthquake, members of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement join arms to ensure that as many survivors as possible have access to the help that they need.
The harsh winter of February, the coldest month in Türkiye, and massive destruction of infrastructures have increased the vulnerability of survivors and responders alike to countless risks. The Philippine Red Cross has donated US$100,000 each to Türkiye and Syria, along with blankets and thick sleeping bags as warm shelter and sustenance are some of the highest priorities. But the immense need for these simple necessities would require more.
We are gathering donations to help send generators and heaters to these earthquake-devastated nations. Help us warm the tents and shelters of survivors. Help us warm the hands of our responders as they deliver much-needed humanitarian services to those affected. Donate now!
The PRC Fund Generation Department is now accepting donations in cash and in-kind to provide safety and protection of internally displaced persons.
