PRC RESPONDS TO FIRE INCIDENT IN MARIKINA

The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) responded to a 2nd alarm fire incident in Marikina City, where residential houses were and affected 53 families last February 14, 2022.

Through the directives of PRC Chairman and CEO Sen. Dick Gordon, PRC distributed non-food items to the families affected by the fire. PRC Marikina chapter also set up a welfare desk to support the residents in coping with the situation.

“Kaagad natin ipinadala ang mga non-food items upang magbigay ng immediate support sa naapektuhan ng sunog. Sa paparating na tag-init, doble ingat tayo upang maiwasan natin ang sunog sa ating bahay,” Chairman Gordon said.

PRC also responded to a 2nd alarm fire in a commercial area in Kalaw Mabini, Manila. PRC dispatched a firetruck, a water tanker, and an Ambulance to aid the affected residents.
