MANDALUYONG, Philippines — The Philippine Red Cross (PRC), in partnership with Lifebank Microfinance Foundation, Inc., continues to expand access to essential health services through a Health Caravan initiative, reaching a total of 2,981 individuals across 62 communities in October 2025 alone.

Six PRC chapters—Zambales, Leyte, Camarines Sur, Negros Occidental–Bacolod City, Surigao del Norte, and Bohol—led the October caravans, providing free medical consultations, health education, and basic healthcare support to the priority areas of different communities.

The Health Caravan serves as one of PRC’s key community health programs, designed to bring vital medical services directly to people in need, especially those in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas. Through the support of Lifebank Foundation, the initiative also promotes awareness of Red Cross health services and strengthens community resilience.

“By working hand in hand with partners like Lifebank, we are able to reach more Filipinos who might otherwise have limited access to healthcare. These caravans show the Red Cross commitment to the health and dignity of every community,” said PRC Chairman and CEO Dick Gordon. 

Five more Health Caravans are scheduled for November 2025 as PRC and Lifebank continue their shared mission to make healthcare accessible for all.
