HELP IS ON THE WAY: PRC SENDS HUMANITARIAN CARAVAN TO LA UNION
The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) National Head Quarters, through the directive of the PRC Chairman and CEO, sends a humanitarian caravan to provide immediate assistance to the Tropical Storm (TS) Maring affected residents in La Union.
PRC deploys ten manpower including 6×6 truck, rescue boat, command post, rescue vehicle, food truck, Food-items such as ten 35kg rice, one hundred pcs canned sardines, one hundred pcs beef loaf, and one hundred pcs of canned tuna. PRC Humanitarian Caravan is one of PRC’s first responses to provide immediate assistance to affected communities by typhoons, disasters, calamities, and conflicts.
“Help is on the way! Agad natin ipinadala ang PRC Humanitarian Caravan upang magbigay tulong sa mga naapektuhan ng TS Maring. Isa sa ating layunin sa PRC ay makapag hatid ng pag-asa at magbigay dignidad sa mga taong lubos na naapektuhan ng matinding pagbaha,” Sen. Dick Gordon said.
PRC, through the different PRC chapters, continues to assist affected communities by TS Maring.
