PRC CONTINUES ITS VACCINATION PROGRAM THROUGH THE BAKUNA BUSES

The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) deploys its Bakuna Buses in Cagayan, Aklan, Capiz, and Lucena on November 05, 2021, and targets to inoculate 1,065 individuals belonging to the A3-A4 categories.

The Bakuna Bus, operated by PRC staff and volunteers, reached the province of Bouquet, Cagayan to vaccinate 180 individuals, Manika, Aklan vaccinating 100 individuals, 200 individuals in BJMP, Los Banos, Laguna, 250 individuals at Ponteverde, Capiz, and 335 individuals in Dupa, Quezon-Lucena.

“Tuloy-tuloy ang ating pagbabakuna sa ating kababayan. Ang ating mga bakuna Bus ay naka-deploy sa iba’t ibang sulok ng ating bansa upang mapabilis ang ating pagbabakuna, sa tulong ng mga local government unit,” PRC Chairman and CEO Sen. Dick Gordon said.

PRC continues to deploy its bakuna buses to vaccinate more people in the coming weeks to ensure the safety of the individuals, despite the lowering of cases.

Chairman Gordon strongly reiterates the importance of vaccination and continuous testing to prevent COVID-19. According to Sen. Gordon, “This is not the time to be complacent and keep our guard up as COVID-19 can still be easily transmitted to unvaccinated individuals.”
