PRC VACCINATION CONTINUES IN BATANGAS

Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Chairman and CEO Sen. Dick Gordon ordered the deployment of the Bakuna Bus to San Nicolas, Batangas, and will vaccinate 800 individuals on November 10, 2021.

PRC Batangas chapter aims to inoculate Batangueños through the Resbakuna Vaccination Programs and continue to move forward and further assist our Local Government Unit in the vaccine rollout. The vaccination teams are all deployed with physicians, nurses, ambulance personnel, staff, and volunteers.

“Tuloy tuloy ang ating pagbabakuna sa Batangas. Katuwang ng local government unit ay mas mapapabilis natin ang ating pagbabakuna at mararating ang malalayong lugar sa pmamagitan ng Bakuna Bus. Kapag lider at ang tao ang nagsama, lalabas ang galing ng Pilipino,” PRC Chairman and CEO Sen. Dick Gordon said.

PRC Batangas Chapter also conducted a mass blood donation drive (MBD) at the Municipality of Calatagan, Batangas, last November 9, 2021. A total of 36,450ml of the collected healthy blood from our 81 donors are collected and will provide opportunities for the Red Cross to save more lives. Sen. Gordon also encourages the unvaccinated to get their vaccines as this is the best defense against COVID-19. PRC continues to vaccinate more individuals as the holiday season approaches.
