Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Hot Meals on Wheels was deployed to Brgy. 635 Sta. Mesa Manila, to provide ready-to-eat meals to 300 individuals last Sept 24,2021.

PRC Manila Chapter under the supervision of its Chapter Administrator Crisanta Cayetano served the residents of Brgy. 635 with chicken afritada. The beneficiaries are persons with disabilities, senior citizens, and solo parents.

“tuloy tuloy ang ating pag dedeploy ng food truck sa mga most vulnerable. Habang may naapektuhan ng COVID-19, hindi titigil ang Red Cross sa pag hahatid ng serbisyo sa ating kababayan,” PRC Chairman and CEO Sen. Dick Gordon said.

PRC food truck, was an initiative of Sen. Dick Gordon to provide immediate food assistance to affected communities by typhoons, calamities, and conflicts. PRC already has a fleet of 23 food trucks, stationed in key strategic areas nationwide.
